Description: CESA is pleased to announce the Winter Futsal Festival hosted by Christ Church Episcopal School Feb 3-4. Our girls event will take place all day on Saturday, February 3rd and our boys event will take play all day on Sunday, February 4th. Each team will is guaranteed 3 games.
Futsal is an exciting, fast-paced small sided soccer game that originates from South America in the 1930s. The nature of the game places a large emphasis on technical skill and ability in situations of high pressure, and is subsequently an excellent breeding ground for improvement that can be translated into the 11 vs. 11 format of the game. It is a fun and competitive game to play during the off-season when players are working to improve on their technical ability heading into the season ahead!
